BREAKOUT OPTIONS
Breakouts happen Saturday afternoon at two different times - all will be offered during both times.
Room: 140 "Life’s hard, get a helmet!" Wendy Barrett
We all face hard things in life. It’s not a question of if, but when. So how will you respond when you face death, sickness, tragedy, pain, or loss?
Wendy will share her personal testimony from her teen years when she witnessed her friend’s death. Then we will be diving in to see what the Bible says to do when we or those close to us face these hard times. We might need more than just a helmet!

Room: Great Hall North "Christian Sexuality" Facilitated by Ashley Trimmer & Kevin Myers
We will be showing a video from the Christian Sexuality series, which is put out by The Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender. This video will talk about God’s Design for our Sexuality and what our identity is or where it comes from. LGB/SSA students need to understand that God loves you, values you, and sees you as a beautiful part of His creation. All people need to know that they are beloved by the Creator of the universe.

Room: 120 "Forgiveness" Kentrel Skeens
At the surface level forgiveness may seem simple, but in reality, for some, it is an area where they wrestle with God the most. Most of us understand our need for forgiveness and recognize the importance of forgiving others. But what if I told you the most difficult person you would ever have to forgive isn't someone else, but yourself? In this breakout session we will examine what the scriptures say about Gods forgiveness, we will discuss practical steps on forgiving others, and we ask the Holy Spirit to forgive the guilt of our sins.

Room: 130 "Rightside up/What do I really Believe? " Brandon Lenhart
In this session, students will learn about and discuss what it means to have a “Biblical Worldview.” Like it or not, everyone has a worldview. A worldview is simply the lens through which we see the rest of the world. It is often based on our experiences, upbringing, education, and strongly held beliefs. But is the worldview we hold (how we see and evaluate the rest of the world) the right one? Even those who grew up in the church may hold different beliefs and views that the Bible holds. Current trends and statistics show that the Biblical Worldview is at an all-time low even among Christians. So, what is a Biblical Worldview? There are 8 characteristics, according to Barna Research Group that make up a Biblical Worldview. Come and find out where you stand.
